We were hired by the Department of Housing and Public Works (DHPW) to review a supported youth accommodation that is to be replaced. We designed and ran a consultation with the community who run the existing shelter and an extended community to explore and generate ideas for the new design.

Hummingbird House provides short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life, for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. We designed and facilitated the community workshop series (hosted in collaboration wiht the client, Queensland Kids, and their architect, Thomson Adsett), we also travelled to host workshops and review the only other two kids hospices in Australia.
